Jennifer Hale is beaming back into the Fractalverse to narrate the Fractal Noise audiobook. No stranger to the Fractalverse, Hale also read the audiobook for To Sleep in a Sea of Stars and joined the author, Christopher Paolini, for a live reading from Unity: An Interactive Fractalverse Story. Fractal Noise is set to be released May 16, 2023 and is available for pre-order now.
The prolific voice actress made her audiobook debut with To Sleep in a Sea of Stars—a marathon endeavor of almost nine-hundred pages. The talented Hale brought to life more than thirty-five different characters, each with their own unique voice. Impressive, to say the least, but she didn’t stop there. During a live reading, Hale voiced new characters from Unity: An Interactive Fractalverse Story, in addition to reviving previous characters from To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. Brand new characters . . . on the spot . . . and did I mention it was live?! Hale is a professional unparalleled in any galaxy.
Here are some audio highlights from To Sleep:
Captain Falconi
“Here we go,” said Falconi, unshelving the largest gun of them all. Kira wasn’t even sure what it was: not a blaster, that much was for sure, but the barrel was nearly as wide as her fist. Far too large for a rifle.
“What the hell is that?” she said.
Falconi burst out with an evil laugh. “It’s a grenade launcher. What else? Bought her at a militia surplus sale a few years ago. Her name is Francesca.”

Sparrow
“What exactly is it you do on the ship?” Kira asked her.
Sparrow’s expression stayed flat, emotionless. “I pick up heavy things and put them down.”
